A Senior Process Engineer is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Syracuse, NY area. This role is responsible for design review, construction oversight, commissioning support, and system validation, with advanced technical expertise and project management skills.

responsibilities:
- Review design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
- Assess equipment configuration and system distribution routing in NavisWorks 3D models for functionality, maintenance, constructability, and alignment with P&IDs.
- Validate engineering calculations.
- Review and approve equipment and component submittals in coordination with operations and maintenance staff.
- Provide advisory support to senior management on process engineering matters.
- Validate responses to construction RFIs.
- Review and approve shop drawings and construction models.
- Perform field engineering quality assurance during construction.
- Support commissioning efforts.
- Advanced knowledge of process engineering theories and practices.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform complex engineering tasks accurately and efficiently.
- strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, BioWIN, PipeFlo, and Visual Hydraulics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Engineers in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
- Experience in ultra-pure water system design and large greenfield project design/construction.
