Our client near Montville, NJ is looking to add a PCB Rework Specialist to their team for a contract to hire opportunity! We are looking for individuals who have at least 5 years of electronic assembly experience with soldering skills related to thru-hole and surface-mount components. This job also requires individuals to read blue prints and schematics. The person right for this job will be able to train other assemblers and be able to troubleshoot/repair assemblies. responsibilities:
- Assembles and wires electronic boards, including both thru-hole and surface-mount components, following detailed assembly documentation.
- Identifies and analyzes assembly errors, devising cost-effective procedures and solutions for reworking boards.
- Repairs printed circuit boards, reworks defective assemblies, and refurbishes previously used assemblies.
- Implements modifications to printed circuit boards in accordance with engineering change notices.
- Constructs prototype boards to support engineering development.
- Operates a riveting machine and utilizes various hand and power tools.
- Provides training to other assemblers on soldering, assembly, rework, and repair techniques.
- Utilizes work order packages and an online barcode reporting system to track labor and manufacturing quantities.
- Works overtime as necessary to meet production demands.
- Consistently adheres to quality standards in compliance with ISO requirements.
