A leader in HVAC and energy services is seeking an Engineering Consultant to join its team in Tampa, FL.
As Engineering Consultant, you will serve to establish new and current clients in their needs for energy efficiencies. You will lead business development initatives including prospecting new clients, build relationships with current clientele and staff, and create project scopes and proposals for client review.
This role requires in depth knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. You will handle estimations, bid packages, parts and schedules for project completion for clients. You will work collaboratively with the superintendent, field services and estimators to ensure the project is scoped out for proposal.
Candidates should have at least 4 years in HVAC servicing/engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. Salary listed is base only. You will qualify for commission on your projects along with a monthly travel stipend and business mileage reimbursement. You can expect a mix of in office and client-site work.
