Our client in Suwanee, GA has a direct-hire opening for a talented and motivated Industrial Technician to join our team. You will play a key role in building and wiring electrical control panels for our diverse range of products.

responsibilities:
- Build and wire electrical control panels using schematics, bills of materials, and instructions.
- Complete point-to-point wiring and install various electronic and electromechanical components.
- Utilize small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams, using good judgment to resolve any inconsistencies.
- Communicate effectively with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and customers regarding project updates and feedback.
- Adhere to safety protocols, utilizing protective equipment and devices.
- Maintain basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Solid understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, symbols, engineering drawings, and layouts for electrical systems.
- Knowledge of basic workshop practices, engineering materials, conduit, and wiring.
- Familiarity with engineering calculations related to current carrying capacity of cables, wires, fuses, and circuit protection devices.
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
- UL508A certification or other relevant certifications are preferred.
