A Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate is needed for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Rockville, MD area. This role involves supporting cell culture and purification operations through preparation, equipment operation, process monitoring, and documentation, while adhering to safety protocols and continuous improvement practices.

responsibilities:
- Prepare, clean, sterilize, batch, pasteurize, filter, and deliver media and solutions for cell culture and purification operations.
- Set up, operate, clean, and break down process equipment.
- Perform sampling procedures and analyze cell culture, solution, or product concentration using analytical instruments.
- Operate filter integrity devices to confirm the pre- and post-use integrity of filters.
- Monitor process operations, equipment, and instruments to identify and escalate potential issues proactively.
- Set up fixed and mobile equipment with CIP skids for validated cleaning and sterilization processes.
- Follow SOPs, protocols, and batch records/logbooks to document process operations compliantly, ensuring data integrity.
- Adhere to safety policies, identify and correct unsafe behaviors, and prioritize safety in all operations.
- Use appropriate communication methods depending on the situation.
- Familiarity with ERP processes in M-ERP, following global and local procedures.
- Understanding and application of continuous improvement systems like the company Production System (GPS).
- Basic skills in automation and emerging digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
