A Quality Inspector is needed for a manufacturer of optics products in the Bartlett, TN area. This role involves conducting inspections of materials, parts, and products in a regulated quality control environment using precision tools, ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining documentation, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

responsibilities:
- Create and maintain supporting records and reports.
- Coordinate, perform, and report on inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure they meet requirements.
- Understand and apply the premise of lot sampling.
- Perform in-process inspections and label inspections.
- Conduct Design History Record (DHR) final reviews.
- Perform specified functional inspection tests.
- Assist with scanning and filing DHRs and other generated quality documents.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Communicate inspection information to Operations and Quality personnel.
- Must have knowledge and experience to operate the following inspection tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Optical Comparator, CMM, Pin Gages and Microscope.
- Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A two-year Technical Degree is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality-controlled regulated industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
