An industry leader in precision motion control products located on the north shore is seeking an experienced Mechatronics Technician for an immediate direct hire opportunity. In this position you will provide technical support by testing, servicing, troubleshooting, and answering questions about the product. You will also work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to fix problems and keep customers happy.

responsibilities:
- Work directly with a range of assembly and test equipment, focusing on electro-mechanical assembly and functional testing.
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble electromechanical components and assemblies for return to customers.
- Configure hardware and software components after installation.
- Share real-time data with Assembly Operations and Engineering to implement improvements that enhance field performance.
- Support customers with equipment upgrades at various field locations.
- Analyze customer field data to identify trends and patterns.
- Document field installations and repair activities.
- Maintain tools and equipment used during service calls and in the local lab.
- Manage administrative tasks such as ordering repair parts and office/lab supplies.
- Train customers on proper diagnostic procedures.
