A Power Validation Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Mountain View, CA area. The job involves leading bid events (RFPs and RFIs) in the capital category of construction services, including collecting information to commercially prequalify contractors, conducting bids, summarizing, and participating in award scenarios.

responsibilities:
- Conduct RFIs and RFPs in the construction service category and designate suppliers in the company's supplier portal.
- Recognize strategic drivers and activities that support key priorities within the category and across the organization.
- Leverage intelligence tools and participate in professional associations to learn best practices and industry trends.
- Comply with all Procurement and company policies, procedures, and practices, and promote adherence across the organization.
- Apply project management principles to drive cross-functional teams in effective and efficient delivery of business objectives for both day-to-day activities and key projects.
- Lead bidding events for services required in excess of the company's Competitive Bid thresholds.
- Submit the RFIs/RFPs requests to NBS to ensure timely generation of the RFPs/RFIs events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with SAP, Ariba (eSourcing), and PowerBI preferred.
- Understanding of multiple factory operations is a plus.
- Experience in database building or assembling data into metrics and dashboards is a plus.
- Contract negotiations experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze and present findings in a clear and cohesive manner.
- Capable of navigating through ambiguous situations and managing relationships.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
- 8-10 years of overall experience in the field.
- Silicon Power Testing 5+ years of experience.
- Oscilloscope and lab equipment handling 5+ years of experience.
- Python scripting 5+ years of experience.
