A great client is seeking a Consumption Specialist to work with Production Control, Planning, and Production teams to address material consumption issues in the factory. This role involves utilizing SAP to ensure accurate transactions and enable employees to properly allocate parts to jobs. The specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting issues both physically and systemically, with a strong emphasis on root cause analysis, teamwork, and effective execution.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation preferred) and 2 years of SAP experience (preferably SAP 4 HANA). strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities are essential for success in this role.

responsibilities:
- Offer daily assistance to teams, ensuring efficient tracking and management of material usage in SAP.
- Work closely with Stockroom, Bonding, and Assembly management to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across diverse teams, including hourly unionized staff, salaried employees, contractors, and management at all levels.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into effective material consumption strategies in SAP.
- Track and report on SAP errors, maintain an updated status of work stoppages, and recommend resolution options.
- Lead the troubleshooting of material consumption issues, offering solutions to the Production Control and Operations teams.
- Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to shifting priorities and contributing to special projects, presentations, or ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Must have 2+ years of experience with SAP, preferably SAP 4 HANA.
- Must have minimum of 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the aviation industry.
