Leading EPC firm in the United States is looking to add a Senior level Project controls specialists to the Philadelphia area. As a Senior Project Controls Specialist, you'll be responsible for overseeing the setup and management of Enterprise Planning & Controls software, analyzing key project data, and presenting detailed reports to the project management team and clients. You'll play a key role in ensuring that project schedules and budgets are met, and you will provide leadership and training to team members while tackling complex project control issues.

responsibilities:
- Description:The Staff/Senior Project Controls Specialist leads project controls processes and consults with the project management team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Presents schedule and budget status reports to project management team and client.
- Validate proper set-up and management of the Enterprise Planning & Controls software. -
- Analyze data, logs, and reports in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools.
- Validate proper Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is utilized.
- Develop effective scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow reports and forecasts for multiple projects.
- Develop, implement, and manage the reporting data warehouse to produce valuable program controls reports and data for multiple large projects.
- Provide leadership and training to team members ensuring the resolution of difficult project control issues.
- Develop and implement project execution plans.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential clients, customers, and contractors.
- Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.
- Serve as a point of contact for technical questions from the project team.
- Validate the accuracy of cost management and forecast reporting.
- Interface with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs and contingency costs and support external audits.
- Experience in negotiation of prime agreements, construction contracts/subcontracts agreements.
- Review upstream (prime contract) / downstream (purchase orders & subcontract) change orders.
- Analyze cash flow reports. - Lead the Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM).
- Lead the presentation of Project Controls reporting.
- Validate schedule progress. - Analyze and evaluate schedule management involving the critical path method of scheduling techniques, estimating, project cost management, forecasting and document control.
- Perform schedule what-if scenarios. - Validate the accuracy of earned value management system reporting.
- Analyze progress measurement. - Analyze progress curves. - Perform and review material takeoffs.
- Identify and oversee the Risk Management process. - Perform quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
- Perform field audits to validate accuracy of reporting and processes. - Perform Project Forensic Analysis.
- Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standards
