A Hardware Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Mountain View, CA area. This role involves post-silicon validation, ensuring comprehensive silicon coverage, conducting simulations, and working with C/C++ and Python, while providing hands-on experience in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments with a focus on technical work, collaboration, and lab-based activities.

responsibilities:
- Analyze information to determine layout, including computer types and peripheral modifications.
- Assemble and modify equipment to meet special needs.
- Build, test, and modify prototypes using models or computer simulations.
- Evaluate factors like reporting formats, cost constraints, and security needs to determine hardware configurations.
- Monitor and modify equipment to ensure systems meet specifications.
- Creativity, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player, detail-oriented.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, production of technical plans, blueprints, and models.
- Basic knowledge of engineering science, technology, and circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware/software.
- Experience with engineering software and design tools.
- 2-4 years of experience required.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Knowledge of computer architecture.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Ability to program in C/C++ and Python.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Exposure to simulation in a pre-silicon environment.
