We are seeking an experienced Facilities Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for a 12 month contract assignment located in Houston TX. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems. This role will involve leading small projects and supporting maintenance teams to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with instrumentation and controls working in a industrial or chemical environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
- TWIC card required

responsibilities:
- Project Facilitation: Lead and manage small-scale instrumentation and control projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Project development / completion based on items identified through PHA.
- Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems in the field.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to maintenance teams and operations staff.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all instrumentation and control systems comply with relevant safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of field activities, including calibration records, maintenance logs, and issue reports.
