Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry, is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer in the Lake Buena Vista, FL area. Key qualifications include at least two years of experience in designing control systems for electromechanical systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of industrial control panel design, components, and PCBs. An associate degree in electronics or engineering design is required.

responsibilities:
In this role, you design electrical control systems from initial requirements to detailed layouts, schematics, and illustrations. You collaborate with engineers to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with design standards. Your expertise includes electro-mechanical packaging for control panels, component selection, and creating detailed AutoCAD drawings in line with UL508a and NEC standards. You also model equipment locations using Revit, produce production drawings, bills of material, and equipment lists, and review engineering drawings for consistency. Additionally, you design multi-layer PCB assemblies based on schematics. Your attention to detail and technical skills drive the successful execution of complex industrial control projects.
