A prominent auto parts manufacturing company in the Detroit area is seeking a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will spearhead tier-one projects for the auto parts manufacturing facility. The Plant GM is one of the first points of contact for key customers and OEM customers, and is responsible for maintaining these business relationships. This person will manage and support the installation of the production lines and hiring of staff. The VP will lean on the Plant GM to run the facility as well as manage customer relationships! This is a top-priority hire for the VP, and is paid in the $160K range, plus bonus!

responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the launch of manufacturing plant
- Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
