We have an immediate direct hire need in the Lawrence, Ma area for a Technical Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to exceed sales quotas and a technical background. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, driving sales, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The focus will be on prospecting and engaging with key decision-makers within multi-layer organizations to expand the client base and grow the sales pipeline. The candidate should have 3 years experience navigating complex technical sales environments and managing customer needs in logistics and fulfillment.
This is a salaried role - you will also enjoy a performance based commission plan.

responsibilities:
- Respond to calls and emails from potential customers, providing clear explanations of the warehousing, logistics, and 3PL services. Use your technical knowledge to describe how systems work and how they solve specific logistical challenges.
- Make 30+ cold calls daily to identify and qualify new leads. Use your technical understanding of logistics and warehousing to explain our solutions and engage potential customers with relevant use cases.
- Evaluate customer logistics and storage requirements by asking technical questions to determine the best service offerings. Provide initial consultations and direct leads to the appropriate teams for further technical support.
- Communicate how our services, such as warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics, integrate into a customer's existing operations.
- Manage the sales pipeline by qualifying leads and moving them through the sales process. Use technical details to overcome objections and answer complex questions, ensuring prospects understand the benefits and functionalities of our services.
- Work closely with the Business Development and Operations teams to provide detailed technical information on customer needs. Ensure smooth transitions between sales stages and that technical requirements are fully understood by all parties.
- Leverage industry-specific knowledge and technical tools to identify potential leads and understand their specific logistics requirements.
- Develop accurate, detailed proposals based on customer requirements, including pricing for 3PL, warehousing, and fulfillment services. Ensure technical specifications are correctly included and that customers receive clear, actionable quotes.
- After securing a sale, assist the operations team in onboarding new customers, ensuring all technical details are communicated clearly. Stay involved during the initial stages to ensure the solution works as expected.
- Share insights based on customer interactions to improve the sales approach, including technical product details, to streamline lead generation and conversion strategies.
