A Mechanical Engineering Professional Associate is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Burlington, VT area. This role involves leading mechanical engineering efforts for semiconductor manufacturing facilities, including HVAC, piping, and exhaust system design, while managing a team, collaborating with clients, and ensuring successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:
- Act as the primary interface between clients and site personnel.
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
- Work directly with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Heating and cooling equipment.
- Exhaust and process chemical/gas systems
- Retrofit existing building systems to accommodate new equipment installations.
- Provide support during construction and integration into manufacturing operations.
- Supervise additional mechanical staff assisting the site.
- Provide technical training and quality checks.
- Assist with complex design processes and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in mechanical facilities engineering.
- Five (5) or more years of experience working with semiconductor manufacturing tools (manufacture, installation, or cleanroom use).
- Field experience (minimum two (2) years).
- VT PE License (Vermont Professional Engineer license).
