responsibilities:
- Oversee highly complex renewable energy projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Lead and manage large project teams of employees and contractors.
- Plan, design, bid, and build projects through commercial operations.
- Manage project contracts, engineering, construction, quality control, safety, and communication.
- Serve as the primary customer relationship manager.
- Develop construction execution plans in compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) guidelines.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment with internal and external agencies.
- Coordinate with Engineer of Record and EPC Construction Contractor.
- Utilize Unifier software for project management, controls, contract execution, and construction management.
- strong communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in contract methodologies, negotiations, and administration.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, trade-off analysis, and data interpretation.
- strong issue resolution and countermeasure development.
- Proficiency in Gantt charts, control charts, matrix diagrams, and visual management tools.
- Ability to optimize workflows and drive efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Applied Engineering or a relevant field (Required).
- 10+ years in applied engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive experience managing projects using Enterprise Project Management (EPM) frameworks.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Required).
