A Senior Panel Integration Technician is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Orlando, FL area. This role involves assembling, integrating, inspecting, and testing avionics panels and electromechanical systems for spaceflight, ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating in a dynamic aerospace environment.

responsibilities:

• Assemble and integrate electronic systems for space system components (Artemis programs).
  
  
• Build and install electromechanical racks, panels, and subassemblies according to specifications.
  
  
• Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, wire lists, and schematics to determine materials and assembly sequence.
  
  
• Mount and install components such as:
  
  
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  
  
• Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  
  
• Relays, contactors, switches, and terminal blocks

Fabricate wire harnesses by measuring, cutting, soldering, and crimping wires and contacts.

Inspect, test, and verify avionics assemblies against technical models, drawings, and work instructions.

Troubleshoot system issues, perform modifications, repairs, and maintenance.

Ensure functionality of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) through inspections, cleaning, measurements, and testing.

Collaborate with teams to perform in-field harness installations.

Follow quality management standards and industry regulations (IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, etc.).

Support continuous improvement initiatives in avionic installations.

Maintain a collaborative team environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving project needs.

Skills:

• Experience in panel wiring, mechanical installation, and reading engineering drawings/schematics.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  
  
• Knowledge of harsh environment assembly and test procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  
  
• Three or more years of experience as an electrical/cable fabrication technician or related field.
