A manufacturer in the Minneapolis area is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. Candidates should have 2 years' experience in an engineering capacity within a manufacturing environment. Experience in Sheet Metal product design and manufacturing preferred. Should be proficient with ERP software and Bill of Materials and Routings. Flexible work schedule. Hourly rate and benefits.

responsibilities:
Construct Engineering Masters (BOMs and Routings) and configure finished goods and component data
Develop assembly instructions for manufacturing assembly and fabrication
Support Operations to ensure safe, efficient processes (i.e. process analysis, jigs and fixtures, time studies)
Support production and fabrication by reviewing part quality or assembly issues
Create incoming and in-process part inspection procedures and provide training as needed
Execute test plans and generate test reports
Identify opportunities for cost reduction in product and manufacturing
Support ISO certification by following SOPs and offering suggestions for process improvement
Other duties as assigned
