A Test Technician is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Phoenix, AZ area. This is a 2nd shift position. The Test Technician plans, assembles, and conducts engineering tests on aircraft components and systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, documenting results, maintaining test equipment, and collaborating with teams to meet quality and schedule requirements.

responsibilities:
- Documents acceptance or failure results of tests.
- Uses hand/machine tools and electronic/manual test equipment to perform tasks.
- Complies with applicable quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts (ACE).
- Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
- Adheres to safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
- Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.
- Proficient use of SAP and adherence to work instructions.
- Test equipment operation and mechanical/electronic measurements.
- strong documentation and quality compliance practices.
- Ability to manage production schedules and customer deadlines.
