Senior Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing organization based near Waverly, NE. This role is responsible for the quality function supporting end to end manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic engineering
- Must have at least ten (10) years experience overseeing quality within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools
- Experience with PFMEA, process control plans and poka-yoke opportunities

responsibilities:
- Leads problem-solving regarding internal and external customer concerns utilizing tools including 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma
- Understanding Root Cause - implementing corrective and preventative actions and driving continuous improvement.
- Leads review, development, and implementation of PFMEA, process control plans and poka-yoke opportunities
- Leads continuous process improvement impacting customer returns, scrap, and first time thruput.
- Interfaces with external customers regarding product concerns, responsible for investigations, customer follow-up, and ultimate customer satisfaction
- Supports new product introductions, and supplier development activities
