responsibilities:
- Establish the facilities and processes necessary to launch and support operations efficiently.
- Oversee daily manufacturing and training activities to ensure smooth, effective processes and high operational standards.
- Manage and provide oversight for major projects, ensuring successful execution and completion.
- Develop, implement, and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational or production issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and environmental guidelines.
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience in site management or overseeing major projects, specifically in the maritime or defense manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience in defense metal fabrication, with a focus on maritime applications.
- strong technical expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies, including welding, within the maritime industry.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage operations with a successful track record.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
