Permanent Position: Currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for an MEP Commercial firm in Charlotte, NC. This person will work on commercial building MEP projects, designing power & lighting systems, security systems, wiring layouts and schematics, and conducting any associated electrical calculations. responsibilities:
- Producing construction plans, specifications, and other technical drawings in an efficient and timely manner.
- Uses Revit and/or Autocad to create construction plans and specifications including power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications as well as special systems (security, television, audio/visual, PA, etc.)
- BSEE
- 5 years of electrical design for MEP or data center projects
- Electrical design
- AutoCAD software
- Revit software
- Basic level proficiency in Vantagepoint CRM System
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
