A leading MEP design engineering firm is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer in Charlotte, NC. You'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for a diverse clientele, with a focus on Mission-Critical and Data Center projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience on Mission Critical and Data Centers projects.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of North Carolina or the ability to obtain your PE in North Carolina within 6 months - 1 year.
- SKM, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Studies (SKM or Easy Power).
- Commissioning experience in Data Centers.
- UPS and back-up generator experience.
- Ability to write Test Scripts and direct commissioning efforts.
- Willingness to work some nights and weekends when required.

responsibilities:
- Electrical Engineering projects ensuring designs are in accordance with industry codes and standards, client specifications, local codes, and budget.
- Final design and construction drawings review
- Identify and implement improvement strategies or work scope increases for projects.
- Construction plans and specifications include power, lighting, fire alarm and communications as well as special systems (security, television, audio/visual, PA, etc.) and must meet appropriate design standards, project & client requirements, and all applicable codes (NEC, IBC, etc.).
