Our client is looking to add a Quality Engineer to their growing team. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Mesa, AZ. This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day quality operations for the production site as well as be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and industry regulations. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, and at least three years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Overseeing the quality of raw materials, packaging and finished products.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and monitor their effectiveness. Enforce safety regulation and promote a safe working environment.
- Analyze quality data collected from inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly, including identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate quality concerns to team, address customer complaints, and work to prevent future quality issues
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspection results, non-conformances, corrective actions, and other quality metrics
- Create quality documentation
