A Test Engineer is needed for a multinational corporation that is involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of athletic apparel, equipment, accessories, and services in the Beaverton, OR area. The Test Engineer will conduct materials and mechanical tests, analyze data, generate reports, and collaborate with product teams to ensure footwear quality, requiring hands-on testing experience.

responsibilities:
- Conduct standard materials and mechanical tests.
- Review, analyze, and interpret test data.
- Write detailed reports and effectively communicate results to teams.
- Assist senior engineers on testing-related projects.
- Provide training and consultation within your area of expertise.
- Identify and implement improvements to testing protocols and lab equipment for accuracy and efficiency.
- strong written and oral communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with product and materials testing.
- Experience with statistical data analysis.
- Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and multitask.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and/or equipment design.
