A great client is seeking a Product Engineer to join their team. The Product Engineer will be responsible for managing and developing new and existing customer coating applications, creating samples, handling costing, ensuring quality, and maintaining both temporary and final process documentation. This position supports production start-up, follow-up, and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for candidates with a background in process or quality engineering, with experience in conformal coatings within the aerospace industry.

responsibilities:
- Perform complex process engineering tasks related to confromal coatings and applications
- Develop and implement systems and specifications to improve efficiency and quality.
- Apply advanced manufacturing techniques, such as LEAN and Six Sigma, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend or develop process revisions, new processes, and applications to enhance performance.
- Communicate effectively by writing and interpreting work instructions, technical reports, and related documents.
- Track and execute cost reduction strategies and savings through process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of work.
- Exhibit strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies.
- Assist in other areas or perform duties as needed to meet business demands.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of conformal coating industry practices.
- Familiarity with parylene coating applications is preferred.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
- Proficient in mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry, with the ability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical scenarios.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Ability to interact professionally with both customers and co-workers.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities while adapting to changing situations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, ERP systems, and other relevant computer applications.
