responsibilities:
Pre-Construction & Planning:
- Facilitates pre-construction meetings with an emphasis on safety.
- Communicates construction recommendations and schedule updates to the PM.
- Monitors project safety, scope, quality, risk, schedule, and budget.
- Oversees both pre-fabrication and on-site construction.
- Supervises contract inspectors and resolves material, construction, and scheduling conflicts.
- Reports daily progress to the PM.
- Coordinates testing and start-up of installed equipment.
- Develops a punch list and secures sign-off from the Field Leader (FL).
- Assists the PM in providing O&M manuals and asset lists to the responsible parties.
- Ensures as-built redline drawings are submitted to Engineering.
- Submits emergency plan redlines to Records Management, Engineering, Field Operations, and Gas Control.
- Ensures acknowledgment of receipt from Gas Control before in-service.
- Compiles and submits close-out documentation per PM's standard format.
- Experience and knowledge of gas facilities construction.
- Knowledge of field and equipment operations.
- strong conflict management and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in record management and compliance.
- Ability to manage and measure performance.
- strong negotiation, planning, organizing, and priority-setting skills.
- 2-5+ years of drilling experience.
- Experience with MIOSHA Part 57.
- OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification.
- Understanding of Michigan Gas Safety Code and Federal Part 192 gas facilities standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
