A Silicon Design Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the San Francisco, CA area. The Silicon Design Engineer is responsible for RTL design, sub-system integration, and debugging for next-generation Xbox IP, requiring expertise in digital design, static analysis, and industry-standard protocols like AMBA AXI.

responsibilities:
- Perform block-level and sub-system-level integration tasks.
- Manage repositories for shared design collateral.
- Review and resolve static checking issues, including CDC, RDC, and Lint.
- Analyze and fix static timing violations.
- Debug and resolve verification issues.
- RISC-V architecture.
- AMBA AXI protocol.
- Advanced silicon technologies (e.g., 5nm or smaller).
- GIT repositories.
- Scripting: Python, Perl, Tcl.
- Hardware languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog.
- Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years in hardware design, 7+ years in digital design (RTL, microarchitecture, static checks).
