A leading EPC firm is seeking an MEP Design Engineer to join its team out of Kansas City on an industrial project expected to last at least six months.
As MEP Design Engineer, you will lead layouts for HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial buildings and data centers. You will conduct energy audits and check for code compliance. You should also be familiar with using modeling tools for heat load calculations, equipment sizing and reviewing technical submittals.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years experience in MEP design projects using chilled water (data centers preferred). You should be LEED AP certified,familiar with NFPA, ICC and ASHRAE codes and able to use Bluebeam Revu and Revit 3D.
