A leader in offshore wind is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team on an exciting project at the Port of Coeymans, NY
The Electrical Engineer will oversee the fabrication and assembly of electrical systems on offshore wind turbine foundations. This role will ensure the LV systems, array cables and SCADA systems are correctly assembled. You will conduct inspections, ensure code compliance and maintain documentation on installations. The Electrical Engineer will report to the Fabrication Manager.
Candidates should have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and experience in fabrication yards, pre-assembly projects or construction sites. You must be able to communicate clearly with internal and external teams. This role is expected to last about a year with possible extensions.
