The Port of Virginia is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join its team to oversee planning, design, construction and maintenance of the marine terminal facilities.
As Civil Project Engineer, you will engineer the planning and design phases of the projects as well as reviewing construction documents and construction progress. You will enagage the senior engineering team as well as other stakeholders for project scope and updates. The Civil Project Engineer will handle budgeting and contractors, conduct cost analysis and risk mitigation practices.
Candidates should have 5 years experience and hold a bachelors degree in construction management or civil engineering. PE licenses or PMP certifications are preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC card and have demonstrated project management skills.
