An Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This Electrical Engineer role involves designing and delivering electrical systems for advanced semiconductor and manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with NEC and safety standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting construction and tool installation projects.

responsibilities:
- Deliver complex construction packages, including tool installation design.
- Ensure schedule adherence and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks.
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Coordinate work activities with staff and discipline leads in a collaborative team environment.
- Single-line diagrams for electrical power systems (208Y/120V - 480V).
- Installation details, electric room layouts, and tool installation connection diagrams.
- Cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, and lighting plans.
- Breaker coordination studies and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies.
- Assist senior engineers in selecting and specifying electrical equipment.
- Provide on-site support during equipment startups as needed.
- Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Working knowledge of CAD and/or BIM modeling software.
- strong skills in digitally marking up drawings using Autodesk Design Review and BIM360.
- Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications.
- Familiarity with design and construction project delivery, from initiation to detailed design, specification format, and construction services.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy from an ABET-accredited university.
- Minimum 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience related to facility engineering.
