We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our team onsite at a top EPC firm supporting distribution design projects. In this role, you will work closely with Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers to prepare and revise drawings. The ideal candidate will have a background in CAD drafting and a basic understanding of electrical distribution systems.

responsibilities:
- Prepare new drawings and revise existing engineering drawings based on specific sketches or layouts.
- Collaborate with teams to identify customer needs and design facilities accordingly.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company and client drafting standards, including ANSI drafting practices.
- Support planning and design efforts for capacity improvements, pole replacements, and system upgrades.
- Utilize drafting and design software to create and update project documentation.
- Prepare required orders and assist with obtaining right-of-way permits.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with public project relocations and related design adjustments.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across deliverables.
