A leading utility is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team near Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
As Electrical Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain power distribution systems that enhance automation. You will serve as technical expert to develop substation and transformer designs, conduct power load assessments and handle arc flash analysis. The Electrical Engineer will utilize PLCs like Allen Bradley for efficiency upgrades and oversee breaker layouts and wiring diagrams. You should understand 480V AC systems, be fluent with AutoCAD and be okay with occasional travel to the downtown location (10 min drive).
