A Engineering Project Manager is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This job oversees automotive testing, ensuring validation, compliance, and timely project delivery.

responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure that all activities for verification and validation of features and vehicle regulations are identified, planned, optimized, and completed.
- Deliver project requirements while maintaining quality, on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and feature targets.
- Manage all incoming test requests using a risk management approach with support from feature engineers.
- Define test plan prioritization and proactively communicate project risks.
- Represent the Complete Vehicle organization in project management teams, design reviews, and clinics.
- Identify necessary resources and related costs, including simulation, rig tests, and test trucks, to execute the verification and validation plan.
- Lead feature reviews and report verification and validation status to the project team.
- Contribute to project documentation, including requirement specifications, project descriptions, risk registers, and lessons learned.
- Ensure that project time plans cover all activities needed to fully verify and validate components, systems, and functions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's preferred).
- At least 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- PMP certification.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as risk analysis, FMEA, and project assurance.
- Experience with design verification plan (DVP) and Agile methodology.
- Familiarity with North American automotive safety regulations (FMVSS/CMVSS).
