An Experimental Parts Coordinator is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Moline, IL area. This role coordinates material flow, inventory, and production scheduling to support manufacturing operations.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate material flow across multiple factory departments, including shipping and receiving.
- Ensure production personnel have necessary parts for manufacturing.
- Oversee and maintain inventory accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify production schedule issues and suggest improvements.
- Manage the movement of rejected materials back to the source.
- Recommend and implement procedures for inventory management and accuracy.
- Investigate and correct material shortages, providing possible solutions.
- Utilize the Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
- Process transactions for inbound and outbound materials.
- Audit material replenishment cycles and ensure accuracy.
- Resolve inventory errors and expedite parts to prevent production delays.
- Work on critical shortage reports to maintain part availability.
- Implement outputs from engineering releases and change management processes.
- Create and edit manufacturing routings.
- Generate programs for laser operations.
- Review and analyze manufactured part prints.
- Monitor and forecast production inventory levels.
- Transfer stock between departments as needed.
- Communicate material transfers with relevant departments.
- Coordinate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availability.
- Maintain and update daily/weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Occasionally create and model simple parts for the shop.
- Troubleshoot part requests from engineers.
- Troubleshoot laser programs and manufacturing routings.

- AutoCAD
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with data analysis capabilities.
- Comfortable and fluent with computer systems.
- Inventory management experience.
- Ability to read 2D drawings/prints (highly preferred).
- Manufacturing experience.
- Experience with CREO and AutoCAD.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with SAP and PowerBI.
