responsibilities:
- Oversee the disassembly, determination of failure mode and required scope of repair on equipment
- Provide technical leadership to facility in new applications and aftermarket opportunities, specifically focused on Engineered solutions and Design upgrades
- Support and provide guidance to operations and test departments
- Review of customer technical requirements and specifications
- Use established standards and procedures for overhaul, rewind, and manufacture of new products to meet customer requirements within the quality control and design standards set by the company (EASA, IEEE, and Nuc 10CFR50 Appendix B) to include creation of job travelers and test paperwork
- Connection to sales, supply chain, quality, and operations for technical support
- Technical Oversight of winding, assembly, and final product testing to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery commitments are met
- Review specifications and implement, changes and/or upgrades for reverse engineered equipment for product aftermarket qualities
- Provide final reports as required per contract
- Work as part of global engineering team
- Provide customer service help to sales teams
- Timely responses on specification and budget, standard operating procedures and strategy objectives are met
