A Manufacturing Engineer Senior for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Fremont, CA area. This role oversees the fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical systems, ensuring quality standards, evaluating cost-effectiveness, and recommending design improvements while working independently with minimal supervision.

responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Ensure quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
- Evaluate mechanical products for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assess field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
- Work independently, applying professional expertise and judgment with minimal supervision.
- Analyze factual information to make evaluative judgments.
- Apply engineering procedures and concepts to solve mechanical and operational challenges.
- Maintain compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards.

- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
