A Hardware Design Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Mountain View, CA area. The Hardware Design Engineer will support SoC integration for cloud and AI silicon chips by developing RTL designs, verifying CDC/RDC, integrating IPs, debugging failures, and optimizing performance using SystemVerilog, AXI protocols, and scripting tools.

responsibilities:
- Create design specifications and test plans.
- Implement and verify RTL designs (image/video processing blocks).
- Support verification engineers for bug-free silicon.
- Perform synthesis and analyze timing results.
- Run CDC and Lint checks on design blocks.
- Optimize design performance, gate count, and power consumption.
- Integrate IPs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- RTL design expertise with SystemVerilog.
- Subsystem design experience with AXI, APB protocols.
- IP design and SoC integration experience.
- Floating-point arithmetic in RTL design.
- strong debugging skills for designs and simulations.
- Familiarity with DFT and scan concepts.
- Scripting skills in Python or Perl.
- Proficiency with CDC, lint checking, and simulation tools.
- No degree required, but Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years in digital design and SoC development.
