A Construction Project Engineer - Mechanical is needed for a leading manufacturing organization near San Antonio, Texas. The Construction Project Engineer - Mechanical will support mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities. This role involves reviewing engineering design documents, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry codes and safety regulations. The engineer will play a key role in construction administration, inspections, and quality assurance for mechanical systems. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of mechanical design experience and 2+ years in construction management. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam is preferred. Prior work in automotive, industrial, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
