A Designer is needed for a utility holding company in the Edina, MN area. The Distribution Design Project Manager oversees the design and implementation of distribution facilities, managing customer needs, permits, easements, contracts, and construction plans while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

responsibilities:
- Manage projects from initial customer contact to post-project analysis.
- Develop and oversee construction work plans to meet customer schedules, design requirements, and budget constraints.
- Design safe and cost-effective facilities in line with company standards and administrative guidelines.
- Generate additional revenue by securing contracts with new and existing customers.
- Obtain permits and easements in compliance with city, state, federal, and county regulations.
- Execute contracts and agreements following regulatory and administrative requirements.
- Represent the company in interactions with government officials, contractors, city agencies, vendors, architects, and engineers.
- Ability to create distribution facility designs.
- Managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Communicating with customers to meet their needs.
- Understanding construction planning and execution.
- Navigating legal and regulatory requirements.
- Securing access rights for infrastructure placement.
- Handling agreements and administrative processes.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
