A leading custom steel fabricator is looking for a Project Manager to join their team near Tonawanda, New York. This organization has been established for over 100 years working alongside Fortune 100 companies in the automotive, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, food, chemical, and heavy industrial manufacturing industries. This position is responsible for full project lifecycle management. These projects are valued up to $2M annually.
The salary is commensurate with experience up to $90K plus an annual bonus, health, and retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
- Take a project from its infancy as a proposal and see it through to completion. This may require site visits, data collection, generating detailed proposals, prepare scope of work, engineering, drawings, ordering parts, and all required materials of construction, scheduling manpower, and act as liaison between customer and company personnel to assure client satisfaction.
- Express new ideas for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain proper customer relations.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate customer requirements with co-worker.
- Monitor the quality of work performed in the shop and onsite.
- Recognize and properly address any safety concerns associated with every project.
- Business development, identifying new opportunities with current accounts or circling back with previous accounts to uncover new opportunities.
