responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs, ensuring the facility runs smoothly without downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules using CMMS systems to maintain accurate service records and track equipment health.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing areas, diagnosing issues and performing responsive repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate on equipment improvement projects, enhancing performance and reducing maintenance costs.
- Participate in safety and team development programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Maintain high-quality standards for all products and processes, contributing to exceptional client service.
- solid technical knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment, including pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and bearings.
- Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, and high-speed automated manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, motor controls, and basic equipment fabrication (welding, CNC).
- Experience using CMMS systems and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and repair issues, keeping operations running smoothly.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude, with the ability to fabricate, install, and maintain equipment and systems.
- solid communication skills for effective interaction with team members and leadership, especially in a bilingual environment. Spanish/English.
