A Systems Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. The Systems Engineer (SE) will lead and execute systems engineering activities, including requirements management, configuration management, and verification, to support complex NASA projects while ensuring integration with internal and external stakeholders.

responsibilities:
- Lead and execute systems engineering activities including management, organization, and verification of complex design requirements.
- Work within a systems engineering environment for NASA projects.
- Ensure coordination of scope and integration of work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery of company work products and designs.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Apply problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking to designs.
- strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and Requirements Management.
- Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering methods.
- Using independent judgment with limited oversight in executing systems engineering programs.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and standards relevant to Systems Engineering.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and common computer applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or related field (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering) from an accredited university.
- At least 3 years of relevant technical experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 9 years of related experience is required.
