job summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for machine setup as a North American machine setup personnel, enhancing Operational Availability through continuous improvement, and resolving technical issues.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  
  
  
  
• Experience with PLC programming, including reading, interpreting, and modifying programs.
  
  
  
  
• Knowledge of input/output systems for machine-to-machine communication.
  
  
  
  
• Experience with NC programming, including reading, interpreting, and modifying codes.
  
  
  
  
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including the ability to read, interpret, and modify designs.
  
  
  
  
• Experience in performing static accuracy measurements.
  
  
  
  
• Willingness to work overtime and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  
  

Plus if you have:

• Two years of experience in an engineering or maintenance role within a high-volume manufacturing facility.
  
  
  
  
• Experience in fabricating or modifying simple parts (e.g., brackets, guarding).
  
  
  
  
• Familiarity with Job Instruction Sheets (JIS) and Job Safety Analysis (JIS/JSA), including experience in creating them.

Collaborate with other teams and departments in Jishuken activities.

Apply process to resolve chronic OA and workability issues.

Develop and manage Denwacho for assigned work areas.

Track and implement countermeasures for identified concerns.

Engage in functional activities and complex problem-solving, both individually and within working groups.

Utilize revision processes to enhance global machine specifications.

Plan and execute equipment commissioning activities for designated areas.

Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new processes as required.

Support VTO, ITO, and production trials.

Certify equipment safety per standards through Safety Checks.
