A CAD Technician is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Painted Post, NY area. The CAD Technician is responsible for creating and modifying 3D CAD models, drafting detailed drawings using SolidWorks, programming CNC tools with Mastercam, and managing technical documentation to support engineering and manufacturing processes.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with engineers and supervisors to meet project requirements.
- Engage in long-term, routine-based tasks.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and update CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Prepare and maintain drawing packages, including redlines and revisions.
- Track processes and die status through spreadsheets and update tracking systems.
- Perform administrative duties for PDMWorks.
- Provide drafting support for non-die components.
- Manage legacy print obsolescence.
- Conduct CAD audits and ensure DARM compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation with clarity and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
