Site Supervisor needed for a client in the Material Handling Industry. This individual will work within the operations department and oversee the construction of warehouse projects. Looking for someone who can oversee contractors, meet deadlines and work closely with customers on expectations. This is a role that can be remote, but is required to travel 100%. Salary will be based on experience.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of related experiences
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.
- Ability to lead the work for a variety of types of workers at different levels.
- Ability to travel (mostly US and Canada) for work, nearly 100% of the time.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Responsible, results-oriented person who can be trusted to accomplish the established objectives of each project on time, safely, and with the highest degree of integrity.

responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the racking erection at the customer's site.
- Review drawings and prepare construction plans. Review all project contracts before submitting to management. Approve project plans.
- Prepare RFQ's and negotiate with subcontractors in regards to the work to be done.
- Coordinate internal and external resources and needs among the subcontractors and the customer.
- Monitor material flow and delivery planning. Verify deliveries and report discrepancies to logistics, engineering, and Area Manager.
- Coordinate subcontractors and internal personnel resources. Assign tasks and schedules to ensure proper coverage and milestone accomplishment. Enforce policies and procedures with personnel, focusing especially on safety and quality. Address safety concerns and mediate conflicts.
- Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees
- Provide support to the contractors related to assembly methodology and drawing interpretation
- Provide feedback to the Area Manager related to job performance metrics of personnel on site.
- Calculate, maintain, and adhere to the project's budget
- Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
- Answer inquiries from potential project partners
- Prepare and submit weekly progress reports
- Verify the structural and robotic systems per topographic measurements.
