A Structural/Support Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. This role involves designing and analyzing pipe support systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes (AISC & ASME B31.3), collaborating with engineers, and utilizing 3D modeling and structural analysis software for cost-effective solutions.

responsibilities:
- Locate and design supports for various piping systems.
- Perform associated calculations for pipe support structures.
- Ensure familiarity with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes (AISC & ASME B31.3).
- Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to develop cost-effective designs.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as needed.
- Work in a 3D model environment for design and analysis.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (4-year program).
- strong knowledge of AISC, ASME B31.3, and other industry codes/standards.
- Experience using structural analysis programs.
- PE Registration (Professional Engineer).
- Experience using pipe support analysis programs (e.g., GTStrudel).
- Experience with Pipe Support Modeler software.
- Previous experience on company projects.
- Prior work on DOD/DOE projects.
