Our client outside of Raleigh, NC is looking to add an Electrical Test Technician to their team for a contract opportunity! Candidates should come equipped with 3-5 years of working experience in electrical or mechanical systems as well as 1 year of experience in electrical testing, and troubleshooting control systems. We are looking for someone who has worked with low voltage applications that understands the respectable standards and knows how to read electrical blueprints. responsibilities:
- Validate the function and performance of Engineered Electrical Solutions.
- Test and validate electrical systems, including Switchgear operation/testing.
- Work with a wide range of electrical devices, controls, and electro-mechanical devices.
- Interpret and work with electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and instrument diagrams.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, adhering to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Inspect electro-mechanical equipment for cosmetic, electrical, and mechanical flaws.
- Use Non-conformance program to document and assist in correcting flaws.
- Load and configure meters, relays, and various other electrical and mechanical control devices (preferred experience).
- Communicate frequently with customers, associates, and suppliers, requiring great communication skills.
